Meet Cornelis. He’s my beautifully brave baby boy who is currently undergoing a bone marrow transplant. We are going to be updating our journey here daily.
Cornelis is a one year old monkey! He is climbing anything he can, running everywhere and his favourite thing to do is plan his escape routes! Cor loves ‘Buddi’ and playing with cars or anything that spins.. Wheels etc.

Who Are We?
Hello! My name is Amy and I’ll be the one updating the blog on our journey. I currently work full time as well as planning a house move and a wedding! My partner, Adriaan is going to hopefully stay nearby the hospital so that he can be on call when things get too much. Cornelis also has a big brother, George. George is 9 years old and also went through a bone marrow transplant when he was 1. He’s now a healthy, happy boy who is incredibly talented at football along with making me so proud at school. As Cornelis will be in isolation for a while, he’s going to be staying with his father during Cor’s hospital stay.
